Self evaluation (must write at least 3 sentences for each question)

1. Explain the process you went through to develop your drawing.
For the process i went through, I first took a picture of the person I was drawing. I then went against a window and put tracing paper over the photo and started sshading were the boy I drew darks spots and light spots were. After that I put the tracing paper down on my sketch book and traced it all on there and then shaded it correctly using my shading chart.
2. Explain how you found the different values in the portrait?
I found the different values in the portrait by placing my paper over a window and then placing trace paper over my picture. After that i started to shade the dark and light spots. That is how i found the values.
3.  Did you achieve a full range of the different values within your portrait?  How?
I think that I acheived a full range the different values in my portrait. When i put it in my sketched book and shaded it, it looked the same as the picture. Plus the boy was pleased with the picture.
4. Describe your craftsmanship.  Is the artwork executed and crafted neatly?
My craftmanship was very well. I made sure that all my pencil lines were correct and that there was no smudging. I had my shading chart was out and that i shaded the potrait the correct shade. I had all the values correctly also.
5. List any obstacles you had to overcome and how you dealt with them.
Some obstacles that i had to over come were shading some part really dark and some that were just dark.  Another one I had to over come was making sure i had all the values. Other then that I was fine.
