Describe your overall thoughts on the final piece.
My overall thought on my art work is that it is ok but i could have done better if my water color wasnt so dark.
How successful do you feel this piece is and why?
I think that my art peice was successful. I think that the colored pencils bring it out alot.
What worked about this project? What didn’t work?
I think that the blending work well in my picture and so did the shadowing. I think that overlapping wasnt so well though
If you were to do this project over again, what changes would you consider making?
If I did this project over again i would ajust the the vanishing point.
What was the most difficult part about completing this piece and why?

Anamorphosis
1. Describe the process you went through to change your object into the correct perspective to create the drawing. This is when you were in the lab.
When i was in the lab i was thinking of what point i wanted the light to come from to cast the shadow. I then saved the photo to my student account and put it into photoshop.
2. How did distorting and stretching the object allow for you to create a drawing that would look different to the viewer?
To do this i used a grid and then drew my drawing acording to my scale. It transformed it from small to large.
3. What were the most important concepts in the project to make it successful?
The most important thing that made the prespective drawing great was the colored pencils.

1. Why is texture so important to have in your sketches?
Texture is important to have in your sketches because it shows whatthe animal is on or near and gives it effect and its make the picture more interesting to look at.
2. Why is it neccessary for you to have several references of each animal and each background? Explain.
It is important for you to have losts of references because then you have lots of options to chose from.3. When you look at your sketches are you able to see which sketch is the strongest and will make the best print? How do you know this?
Yes, because i can tell by which one has the most detail in the frame that is for the print.

1. Explain your experience working on a team and executing your ideas for the mural.
My experience working on a team was really amazing. I really enjoyed working with other people to create the picture above. We included everyones idea and thoghts. We worked together on helping create the mountains,ground, M&M and the sky. We didnt argue at all and everyone helped out.
2. Explain the importance of collaboration when working on a team.
The importance of collaboration when working on a team is talking and working together. You have to help eachother out. Also you must make sure everyone has a part in it.3. How successful was this project? Explain how and why.
This project was very successful. We all Worked together and talked alot. We all did our part in the project and the work was evenly distributed.
4. Explain how you feel about creating artwork that others can interact with. Ex. Invoving the whole school?
I really loved the fact that other people could interact with my groups art. It was funny to see my friends go up to the mural and try to interact with it. I think that other people enjoyed it.

Value Portraits Art Critique

1. Explain the process you went through to develop your drawing.
For the process i went through, I first took a picture of the person I was drawing. I then went against a window and put tracing paper over the photo and started sshading were the boy I drew darks spots and light spots were. After that I put the tracing paper down on my sketch book and traced it all on there and then shaded it correctly using my shading chart.
2. Explain how you found the different values in the portrait?
I found the different values in the portrait by placing my paper over a window and then placing trace paper over my picture. After that i started to shade the dark and light spots. That is how i found the values.
3. Did you achieve a full range of the different values within your portrait? How?
I think that I acheived a full range the different values in my portrait. When i put it in my sketched book and shaded it, it looked the same as the picture. Plus the boy was pleased with the picture.

4. Describe your craftsmanship. Is the artwork executed and crafted neatly?
My craftmanship was very well. I made sure that all my pencil lines were correct and that there was no smudging. I had my shading chart was out and that i shaded the potrait the correct shade. I had all the values correctly also.

5. List any obstacles you had to overcome and how you dealt with them.
Some obstacles that i had to over come were shading some part really dark and some that were just dark. Another one I had to over come was making sure i had all the values. Other then that I was fine.

Shading

This piece came out good but it could have came out better if i didnt smudge it2. if this was a group project, what was your contribution?
My contribution would be my drawing the shapes

It was sucessful because I shaded really well

My shading was really good but i wasnt shading dark enough for the dark parts
